Crossroad Volunteer Internship Program
The Crossroad Volunteer Internship Program offers clinical experience to pre-professional health students in a federally qualified health center. Students pursuing careers in medicine and related fields work with Crossroad patients, providers, and other staff members on several tasks to enhance the standard of care at Crossroad. Our program welcomes hard-working and reliable undergraduate students who conduct themselves in a professional manner to complete the application. This is a wonderful experience but a large time commitment, which is important to keep in mind. Our volunteer interns are required to commit to a four-hour shift per week over the course of one year or three semesters. Students can postpone one rotation, with the exception being their first. Please see our website at https://www.crossroadhc.org/student-volunteers/ for more details regarding our unique program. To read about the experiences of students in this program, please read our blog! Please reach out to crossroadhc@gmail.com with questions.
